Factored the various metrics to be considered as key KPIs aligning to business objectives.

Identified and selected the most relevant and impactful metrics that reflect the overall rhythm of business for the monthly overview.

Designed a simple, intuitive, and visually appealing PowerPoint slide with sections for key metrics as well as key insights.

The data for the MBR slide is updated regularly from various sources after conducting data validity checks; analyses are performed at the month level to derive the key insights for the month.

Implications

The monthly MBRs and insights helped the clients achieve more than 60% of their yearly KPIs in the first 5 months of the fiscal year.

The insights provided helped the client take corrective actions in the form of campaigns and additional offers.

The data validity checks conducted before reporting helped the client understand if there was any data loss and the systems were intact; low values were flagged and sent for inspection.
